Computer temperatures?

Guys, what are your computer temperatures?

My notebooks GPU temperature was at 86°C this morning and in the datasheet it says the maximum possible temperature is 89°C, otherwise the hardware might get seriously damaged. The cooler was really loud as well.

I disassembled the notebook and cleaned the cooler, now my CPU temperature is between 48°C and 55°C and the GPU temperature is 48°C.

Are these average values or too high as well?

On notebook's CPU the temperature is 59C all the time whatever I do, just HDD has died recently, good it still has warranty. Big Grin

And on desktop I have an application which will set the fans to blow more if the temperature on CPU goes higher than 55C, but it jums between 45 and 50C when just windows runs.

GPU has 40C when no game is running.

When I am running UT3 I also turn additional fans on max(mainly in the summer). I don't really check it while I am playing.

not gonna lie.. my laptop scares the hell out of me with it's 65°C coolrun and 86-89°C when gaming (yes I cleaned it, it didn't help much)...
However my PC at home chills it's CPU at dead stable 27°C no matter what and GPU gets around 42-45°C when gaming...
but well... one is 3-4 years old laptop and the other one is rather new build in cooler master case with quite some airflow.

best I can do is Predat

woah that's quite a big difference for you, para^^
I haven't cleaned my laptop for ages but I guess the temperatures should be okay since I don't use it for gaming.

@predator: Do you have water cooling? Otherwise the dead stable 27°C might as well be a dead sensor Wink

These are my idle/UT3 ingame temperatures on my desktop:

Hadn't checked those for a while, I'm happy they're okay^^

I actually burn my CPU from time to time... Intel claims their termal limit is 105C, but I really fear approaching that number... Tongue
