VCTF-SilverPoint - screenshots look boring

VCTF-FacingWorlds2X - could you provide a link to it?
VCTF-CrudeOcean_SE - I have mixed opinion about it. Do you like it or not?
VCTF-DarkOnyxCoast - could you provide a link to it?
VCTF-InfectionForest_SEV3 - I have seen it and it looks great. I am a bit worried about FPS and gameplay though. What do you think?

Maps that won't be added
Please don't suggest those maps anymore, unless there is a really good reason to do otherwise

vCTF-The-Great-Wall - Tank can be taken by the opponents and be used for spawnkilling.
VCTF-Alpine - clumsy base, long and boring outdoors, little gameplay, few vehicles
VCTF-Electro - too easy to get lost. You can die seemingly for no reason. Searching for flagcarrier can take hours.
VCTF - TrainCrossing - bad gameplay. Was up on RAW server for many months.
VCTF-BinarySpace - promotes tank spawnkilling and tank flagcamping
VCTF-Apex - hard to go/fly in one straight line, you constantly bump on something. All the teleporters make the game very random, especially when chacing the flagcarrier. Hard to score, seen games taking an hour.
VCTF-Luracia - very FPS houngry. If snow is removed or/and some effects are removed, it would be a good entry.
VCTF-Octopus - spawnkill prone from the singly fury
VCTF-Aggressiv Alleys - searching for flagcarrier can take hours. If he hides in the vent, it is very hard to kill.

If you want some other map to appear, please let us know and provide a link to this map in this thread. The map has to satisfy certain quality requirements, which are:

- It obviously must be playable
No halfway done maps. But we do accept beta versions of maps, if they are complete but still require some testings to get rid of bugs and to balance it better.

- It should have a theme/style/atmosphere of some kind.
A nicely structured map, but with completely random textures, huge boring surfaces and (God forbid) totally unaligned textures will not be accepted. Map should look decent, if not beautiful.
Also, some overbright textures here and there may kill the atmosphere. For example, I have seen Suspense-Liberty-Something which is a good example of what I don't want to see here.

- Hard to spawnkill
It should not be easy to spawnkill on that map. It can be prevented in many ways, such as - multiple spawn locations or small doors or rooms to prevent vehicles from entering those locations.

- It must not be a spam map
A map where you can see the opponents flag from where you spawn, and where you can shoot randomly and score some frags most likely is a spamap and will not appear here.
This does not mean that we don't accept small maps. Of course, small maps usually create a bit of spam, but it is not necessary a braindead gameplay. Skyscraper-NightFire is a good example of small but not too spammy map.

- Should not promote flagcamping
Especially: vehicle flagcamping.
Obviously, there will be always some flagcaming, but the map shouldn't make it easier.

VCTF-Electro has been hosted on the RAW server.
While it provides a lot of interesting concepts, it is hard to "understand" the map and some things may interrupt the flow of the game. That is why I have mixed feelings regarding that map.

good start, but looks too much like the dFb maplist minus spam.
Perhaps add a few outsiders like

I will have a look on every map you mentioned. Except for:
VCTF-Alpine which is a total crap and a curse which was on RAW servers 2 years ago.
vCTF-The-Great-Wall Too spawnkill prone, because the tank in your base can be taken by the opponent's player. Unless they corrected this problem.

We tried VCTF-TrainCrossing many times on RAW but ultimately, it seemed that lack of midfield and high distances leads into too much running and searching and too little fighting.
As for VCTF-Basically, well, it is basically BSP-only map, but I will probably add it nevertheless. It does have its own unique climate and it is very good with respect to gameplay.

I think the most important thing in UT3 is the map layout.
